Birth – 5th Grade

Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me..."

Matthew 19:14

Kids are a priority here at Hope Rising. The mission and goal of Hope Rising Kids is to come alongside parents to build a foundation of faith in their child. We accomplish this every Sunday as we:
  • Know God through discipleship and learning to ask applicable questions
  • Find Freedom in Christ through building Biblical foundations and worshipping together.
  • Discover Purpose in age appropriate ways by discovering who God created them to be
  • Make a Difference through putting into practice the things we have learned with our families and friends

Sundays

10:00am

We use a curriculum called Orange which focuses on teaching kids Biblical truths and then help parents know how to engage with them at home. The Orange model brings together church and home for a full discipleship experience. We want to partner with you through Orange in the discipleship and growth of your child.

6:00pm

On Sunday evenings we walk kids through different stories throughout Scripture to help strengthen their beliefs.  We are teaching kids about the story of God from Genesis to Revelation and how God's character is the same in the Old Testament and the New Testament

VBS 24': Ready, Set, Move!

Join us June 3rd-7th for our Vacation Bible School: Ready, Set, Move! Pack up the car, and ride along with us for a weeklong road trip as we journey through the New Testament, following examples such as the Resurrection, Paul's conversion, and Pentecost that will help your kids to learn to move forward in their own journey of faith.

Elementary Series: Cookout-It's Worth the Wait

Waiting is a part of all of our lives, but the good news is that we don't have to wait on our own. Through the Holy Spirit, God can help us experience the patience we need to wait well. Because we are made in God's image, we can reflect God's patience in our lives, we can be patient when we remember what God has done, and we can lean on God's Holy Spirit to give us the strength we need to trust God and show patience with the difficult circumstances in our lives.

Pre-K and Nursery Series: Shine

Have you ever been somewhere where it was so dark you couldn't even see your hand in front of your face? No light shining under the door. No stars in the sky. Just darkness.  So much darkness that you have to shuffle slowly, stumbling your way across the room with arms stretched out, hoping, searching...and then finally, with the flip of a switch there is light! Light changes everything.

This month, we're talking about light, but not just any light. We're talking about Jesus-the light of the world-and how when you do what Jesus says, we shine. We shine the light of Jesus! After this month, we hope every time you and your kids see a lamp or a star-filled sky, you remember that people were made to shine, and we have Jesus-the light of the world-to show us how. So let's not hide our light. Let's SHINE and light up the dark so others can see their way to Jesus.

What do we offer parents?

Parent cues are a great way to help bring the lesson on Sunday into the home. Parent cues are activities and discussions you can have with your child to help reinforce what we have been learning on Sunday mornings. Parent cues can be found within the devotional sent home weekly, or you can download the "Parent Cue" app from your preferred Appstore.

We offer various ways of communication that fit your needs! We have a parent Facebook page where we share various updates and resources. You can also email us anytime at kids@hoperising.cc if you have any questions or concerns. We also send out a monthly Parents Update so that you can stay up to date with everything going on in our Kids Ministry.

Our Volunteers

We love our volunteers here at Hope Rising Kids! All volunteers are background checked and all leaders receive training for best practices. If you would like to volunteer and partner with us as we help to bring up the next generation of Christians, please reach out to us to get connected!
